Tip to Get Your Toddler to Eat a Healthy Plate
Do you think your kids would eat or even try everything on this plate?
I find that eating food outside when possible is somehow much more magical than eating inside at the table. Pick a spot and set up a blanket and talk about the foods that grow around us. My other key to trying new foods...make sure your kid(s) is hungry! It's also important not to mystify the fruit as a treat. Having the plate sit there while they graze during snack time allows them the opportunity to try different things.
If your child only wants to eat one item (ie the cherries) and those run out first, I like to point out and say in a sing-song manor "The cherries are all gone, they’re all done" 🎵
