How to Make Almond Milk

Almond Milk Recipe:

Natasha Beck Almond Milk

1. Soak 1 cup organic plain almonds* in filtered water overnight or for 6-8 hours (and cover bowl with a towel). Can put in fridge or leave out. (*I store my almonds in the freezer. )

2. Drain nuts and add to blender

3. Add 2-4 cups filtered water. I like to add 3 cups

4. Optional add one date (I personally don’t. If you do, I try to slowly add less, 3/4 date, 1/2 date etc to get them use to it). Can also add a sprinkle of Ceylon cinnamon or fresh vanilla bean

5. Blend and then pour through a nut milk bag over a bowl and squeeze out excess milk.

6. Pulp is good for 3-4 days and can use in oatmeal, smoothies, pancakes, or baked goods. Can also put in freezer.

7. Store milk in glass jar with the least amount of air in fridge. Milk is good for 3-4 days.
