My Cleaning Solution Recipe

How to clean up your cleaning supplies and save money while doing it!

Your cleaning supplies can be filled with toxic chemicals. That's one of the reasons I make my own. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just to give you a sense...Here are some of the toxic chemicals found in cleaners:

Monoethanolamine (linked to asthma) Allergens (can cause eye or respiratory irritation)
Ammonium quaternary compounds (linked to asthma, and some reproductive harm)
Galaxolide (linked to hormone disruption)
1,4 -dioxane (linked to cancer)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s my recipe for my homemade all purpose cleaning solution:
1.5 cups Distilled water
2 tbsp @drbronner Castille unscented soap
7 drops of @youngliving thieves
7 drops of @youngliving lavender ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For the bathroom tub/shower and toilet, I add 2 tbsp white vinegar for every 2 cups of distilled water and 7 drops of thieves or frankincense (the vinegar I find is too harsh for the kitchen and various counter tops/floors). And I don’t use lemon essential oil as that can be too acidic as well for my counter tops. I also use this solution for my windows.

Here’s some cleaning brands I like:
@youngliving
@betterlifecleanhappens
@mollys_suds
@branchbasics

Added bonus: get your preschoolers involved in cleaning- they love to do the windows
