All my Clean Cleaning Products
Cleaning doesn’t have to mean chemicals. The products we use every day on our dishes, clothes, and countertops can either build up our health or burden it. Here’s what we’re actually using in our home right now—safe, effective, and Dr. Organic Mommy-approved.
🧼 For Dishes
This is our go-to for hand-washing dishes. It’s unscented, EWG-certified, and free from artificial fragrance and dyes. Works great and feels good to use. I buy the nottle once and then the refills after that.
Plastic-free, refillable, and tough on grime. I store them in a glass jar under the sink for easy access.
Branch Basics Dishwasher Tablets - Trying these out as well
Once a week, I run an empty cycle with white vinegar to keep the dishwasher clean and odor-free.
Branch Basics Oxygen Boost (use code DRORGANICMOMMY)
I keep this in a mason jar next to the sink. It’s great for soaking dishes with stuck-on food or when I want to add a little extra power to a load
Sponges + Tools
We use these sponges and this full circle scrubber brush
I love these Redecker brushes as well.
This stone sink caddy dries instantly and keeps everything from getting moldy. It’s a small upgrade that makes a big difference.
🧺 For Laundry
Branch Basics Laundry Concentrate (USE CODE DRORGANICMOMMY)
Still our favorite detergent. For tougher stains, I apply a capful of the concentrate directly before washing.
Also works beautifully as a laundry booster—whiten whites, lift stains, and refresh towels naturally.
For stains: spray with all-purpose cleaner, dab on oxygen boost, soak for 24 hours, and then place in the sun.
Molly’s Suds Stain & Spot Remover works well for heavy-duty stains
🍳 For Pans
Safe, effective, and has been around forever. It scrubs stainless steel and ceramic pans without scratching and without the harsh stuff.
A must if you cook with cast iron. It removes stuck-on bits without stripping the seasoning—no soap required.
🖐️ For Hands
• Branch Basics Hand Wash (refillable glass bottle, super long-lasting) - you can also use there concentrate and make a foaming hand soap
• Aleavia Skincare Hand Soap (least drying, actually feels hydrating—use code DRORGANICMOMMY)
• Everyone Hand Soap - a more affordable less toxic option that is EWG verified
Around the House
For everyday cleaning, I use Force of Nature on high-touch surfaces like faucets, doorknobs, and even use it to clean wood cutting boards.
For floors, I use this stainless steel mop and bucket, adding a capful of Branch Basics concentrate to the water for an effective, gentle clean.
Sometimes we use a Swiffer but Instead of disposable Swiffer pads, I repurpose an organic dish towel secured with a rubber band.
*I use one color of the Coyuchi towels for wet dusting and a different color for kitchen use, so it’s easy to tell them apart
🧻 Other Essentials
We avoid paper towels as much as possible, but when we need them, we use Reel. They’re made from bamboo and ship plastic-free.
We love our dish towels from Coyuchi - All washable, reusable, and gentle on hands.
⸻
We’re not aiming for perfection—just fewer toxins, more intention, and cleaner spaces. These are the swaps I actually use and love. Let me know if you try any of them—or if you have favorites I should check out!
