A Lunchtime Adventure!

Here's another example of a lunchtime adventure...It's construction time. Your little one is in charge! Just saying they are in charge of their own construction site promotes autonomy which is key during the toddler years for them to feel, especially as they crave it so much.
🚧🚧🚧

How is this a construction site? The curly pasta are the drill bits. The dairy free kale pesto sauce is crumbled up grass/dirt. The radishes are the flowers and the nuts are the stones that need to be moved with an excavator! And guess what?
Your kid's mouth is the excavator! Your strawberries are the big wheels of the trucks. The @seasnax sea weed are the pieces of wood that you need to lift up with a crane 🏗️🏗️🏗️ The drill machine gets to be your little one's fork (or hand if they prefer). You can also let them sprinkle green peas on top of the pasta so that there are more rocks that they need to break down by using their teeth. 🚚🚚🚚
